A playful bilingual Armenian and English website for a licensed daycare in Yerevan, with original mascots, scroll animation and a physics toy box.

The Challenge
Im Srti Tnaky (Իմ Սրտի Տնակը, “the little house of my heart”) is a licensed daycare in Nor Arabkir, Yerevan, for children aged 1.5 to 6. Its days are full of English and Russian, dance, music, chess, mental arithmetic, robotics and tennis, along with gardening and baking lavash. Until now, its story has lived on Facebook and Instagram.
The daycare needed a real website for parents that works in Armenian and English, and that feels as warm and lively as the place itself.
Our Approach
We designed a five-page site (home, about, programs, traditions and contact) in both languages, with Armenian as the default. Bold, rounded type in both alphabets carries the pages. The palette is built from sky blue, tomato, sunshine yellow and cream.
The site has its own cast of characters. Paytik, a wooden boy, Murik the cat, Chiko the mouse and Nazeli, a girl in traditional Armenian dress, are original drawings in the spirit of classic Soyuzmultfilm and Armenfilm cartoons, not copies of them. Their eyes follow your pointer. Storybook friends such as Nazar the Brave join them on a starry night scene.
Motion runs on GSAP: split-text headlines, scroll-driven scenes, a card deck, draggable letters and a cat chasing a mouse across the page. The homepage hero has a toy box built with Matter.js physics. Blocks, fruit and stars drop in, and visitors can drag and throw them. All of it switches off for visitors who prefer reduced motion. Contact goes through a form, and a build check fails if an email address ever appears in the site.
Where It Stands
The site is in development and has not launched. Opening hours, final copy, full-size photos and parents’ consent for any photos of children are still to come from the daycare. We will publish the site once they are in place.
