T-Shirt Art

Apparel design is a discipline where the work has to earn its place on the garment. A design that looks strong on a flat screen can fail entirely when printed on fabric — the scale, the texture, and the way the garment moves all change the equation. This project was built around getting that translation right.

The work centered on developing original graphic illustrations for t-shirt and merchandise applications. Each design was created as a composition that works at garment scale: graphic enough to read from a distance, detailed enough to reward closer inspection, and proportioned to work across multiple garment formats and colorways.

The illustration style was developed to have a clear visual identity — a set of graphic decisions that tie the designs together as a collection while giving each piece its own personality. This matters for merchandise because buyers are often making decisions about how the item reads as part of their personal visual identity, not just whether the graphic looks good in isolation.

The result is a collection of apparel designs with both visual quality and practical wearability — original illustration work built for print production and designed to hold up on the garment rather than just on the screen.
